Evidence from your medical doctor that weight loss 12 months post-op doesn’t meet the 60% excess weight loss expectation. Also, to participate, patients must communicate with their patient coordinator any weight loss stalls or gains, and must maintain an active subscription to the BSB supplement program, which is sent to you monthly, and must be taken as directed.

Dr Paipilla is an extremely skilled, highly respected board-certified bariatric surgeon in Mexico, and everything you need is available from this cutting-edge hospital, including sterile operating rooms and an extensively appointed intensive care unit.
Discover if you are eligible for weight loss surgery, and a member of our team will contact you to find out if you wish to proceed. However, there will be no pressure to do so. If you decide to proceed — with the authorization of your surgeon — we can then book a date for your bariatric surgery.
We know waiting can increase anxiety, so aim to arrange your procedure 14 days after you are approved. However, if you prefer, you can also book a date as far ahead as 12 months.
Aftercare and Nutritional Program with BSB
We pride ourselves on our long-term aftercare and nutritional planning support. Your personal patient coordinator is available to help you anytime during and after your bariatric surgery in Mexico if you need assistance.
Every patient’s nutritional guidance is developed by our qualified nutritionist and based on individual patient requirements. There is no such thing as a standardized bariatric nutrition program; your nutrition plan is based on your bariatric surgery procedure, medical information, dietary demands, body mass index (BMI), and weight loss goals.
Also, your personal patient coordinator will contact you by phone and text the day after you return home, then again after two weeks, one month, three months, six months, and twelve months. We also encourage you to join our support group on Facebook, where our patients connect and support each other.
If you have any concerns, you can contact your patient coordinator, who can arrange for you to speak with your bariatric surgeon via phone, if required, text or email after your surgery. All medical records are shared with you to safeguard your health. And we follow all HIPAA guidelines and regulations to ensure your medical records are accurate and up to date.

I had gastric sleeve surgery on Dec 7th, 2022. I had a great experience, from the hospital to the hotel to my post-op. I never had pain, never was nauseous, and never threw up, I was expecting a little of all of that at the least, but my body did great. I definitely make the better choices when it comes to food, but I don’t deprive myself of the foods I want to taste. I’m down 28 lbs just one-month post-op, and I have zero complaints!!
